Recycling

The original product is reformed in a multi-stage recycling process, usually by a melting process. However, recovered materials are used for the production of new products. This is particularly successful with packaging that consists of mono-materials. In multilayer packaging, the individual different layers of material often cannot be removed from each other, making recycling difficult.
