Pet food packaging: around 80% lighter than pet food cans
On the pet food shelf, it is noticeable that many manufacturers pack their pet food in cans. However, pouch packaging like ours is much more sustainable. They require much less material during production and are also around 80 % lighter than cans. This reduces fuel and transport costs. Thanks to their compact size when unfilled, they are very space-saving.
Our paper packaging Ben and Robin
For all our paper packaging, we only use sustainable paper from FSC®-certified forestry or other controlled sources. This ensures that our paper-based packaging is produced in accordance with the principles of fair and environmentally friendly forest management. This benefits all of us: your brand image, your customers and the environment.
Our plastic packaging Martha and Toni
With our Toni and Martha plastic packaging, we focus on packaging made from mono-material that can be recycled in the plastic waste. This way, we make the greatest possible contribution to a functional circular economy and protect the environment, which has been certified by the German environmentl expert Interseroh with the "Made for Recycling" seal.

Frequently asked questions about our pet food packaging
What pet food can you pack safely with our pouches?
Any raw, wet or dry dog or cat food, dried meat strips, treats, bones & snacks. The best thing to do is to test your pet food with our sample packaging.
Pet food packaging: Is plastic-free always sustainable?
No, plastic-free does not mean that the packaging is automatically sustainable. This is because not all alternative materials to plastic are environmentally friendly: glass and can packaging, for example, consume more resources during production than plastic pouch packaging. Due to the high weight, more CO2 is emitted during transport. Moreover, the term "plastic-free" often hides bio-based plastics.
Which add-ons are useful?
If you choose the materials "Transparent Toni" or "Metallised Martha", you can print the "Made for Recycling" seal on your packaging. For Robin, Ben & Nils the FSC® seal is possible. For our biobased packaging Ben, you can also choose the "OK biobased" seal.
Most of our materials have a pressure closure (zip closure) implemented as standard and are therefore available as resealable pouches (except Nils). If your product will hang on a shelf wall in the shop, we recommend a Euro hole and our flat pouches.
I don't have anyone to create the design for me. Can you do it?
No problem, we are happy to support you in creating your designs. As part of our design service, you can choose between three different packages. You can find more information here: Design service
Where does the production of the pet food packaging take place?
All our flexible packaging is produced and printed in Germany and other EU countries. Proximity means that processes can be better controlled and optimised more quickly. Material safety is also always guaranteed. We avoid long transport routes and thus consume less CO2. After all, as a packaging manufacturer we have a great responsibility for our environment and put reduce our ecological footprint on our agenda every day.
How long is the delivery time?
The regular production and delivery time (standard) is 4-6 weeks for our stand-up and flat pouches and 4-7 weeks for our flat-bottom pouches. If you want it to be quicker, you can choose Express (3-4 weeks) or Express+ (10 working days) for our stand-up and flat pouches. What is the price for the pet food packaging?
The prices for our packaging vary depending on the selected quantity, the material and your desired size. You can see all prices listed transparently in our configurator.
