In addition to shielding against external and internal influences, your packaging should also be robust enough to withstand transportation, storage, resistant to drops, moisture, and temperature fluctuations.

Through the purchase of our paper packagings (Robin and Ben), we, in partnership with Eden Reforestation Projects (reforestation of tropical areas), plant one tree for every 100 paper pouches ordered. 🌳
For orders of our recyclable plastic materials, we donate 5 euros per order to the K.R.A.K.E. (Cologne-Rhine Cleanup Command Unit), which uses their innovative trash trap to collect plastic waste from the Rhine River and clean up local forest and natural areas.
Frequently asked questions about our tea packaging
Which packaging material is best for tea?
Due to the food grade nature of our packaging materials, you can use any of our bags for your tea blossoms. However, a material structure with good UV and moisture protection is important. For this purpose, for example, our metallised plastic packaging Martha, our composite packaging with paper structure Robin or our Ben made of renewable raw materials are suitable. If you want to pack products containing essential oils in our bags, you should do a filling test beforehand to be on the safe side.
Flat-bottom pouches, stand-up pouches or flat pouches - which should I choose?
All three types of packaging are so-called "pressure seal bags" that can be reliably closed with a zipper. While stand-up pouches are functional all-rounders, flat-bottom pouches offer you particularly robust support thanks to their stable shape. Thanks to their optional Euro hole, flat pouches are the perfect packaging for hanging up at the point of sale. All three types of packaging can be designed with the colours of your choice and creative special effects: From a kraft paper look to a transparent window, it's all there!
Which add-ons are useful?
If you choose the materials "Transparent Toni" or "Metallised Martha", you can print the "Made for Recycling" seal on your packaging. For Robin, Ben & Nils the FSC® seal is possible. For our biobased packaging Ben, you can also choose the "OK biobased" seal. Most of our material variants have a pressure closure (zip closure) implemented as standard and are therefore available as pressure closure bags (except Nils). If your product will hang on a shelf wall in the shop, we recommend a Euro hole and our flat bags.
I don't have anyone to create the design for me. Can you do it?
No problem, we are happy to support you in creating your designs. As part of our design service, you can choose between three different packages. You can find more information here: Design service
Where does the production of the tea packaging take place?
All our flexible packaging shapes are produced and printed in Germany and our EU neighbouring countries. Proximity means that processes can be better controlled and optimised more quickly. Material safety is also always guaranteed. We avoid long transport routes and thus consume less CO2. After all, as a packaging manufacturer we have a great responsibility for our environment and put minimising our ecological footprint on our agenda every day.
How long is the delivery time?
The regular production and delivery time (standard) is 4-6 weeks for our stand-up and flat pouches and 4-7 weeks for our flat-bottom pouches. If you want it to be quicker, you can choose Express (3-4 weeks) or Express+ (10 working days) for our stand-up and flat pouches.
